This machine...she isn't pretty, but she's producing reverse osmosis water again! If you had told me on Tuesday morning that we would have the water functioning by Thursday, I wouldn't have believed you!
I am incredibly proud of this guy right here. The ice and water machine has been Rick's "baby" ever since we installed it in 2015. He has diligently maintained it to produce the best quality ice and water possible. It's going to be several weeks before the ice makers are replaced, but we are happy to welcome our water customers back!
We are humbled by the outpouring of prayers and genuine concern since Monday's tornado. We are especially thankful for the calls we have received from our loyal customers for their encouragement and their expressed hope that we would reopen. Many people in Ottawa and our surrounding communities rely on our machine for their water needs, and they are why we continue to operate.
Our hearts go out to those who are still suffering in the aftermath of the storm. We appreciate the folks from Hope Anthem (from whom we rent this spot) for removing the large debris from the area. And, finally, we owe a debt of gratitude to our public works and emergency management services whose response has been nothing short of amazing! We are so thankful for this community and blessed to call it home. ❤️
