Alt text helps people using screen readers understand what's in an image. Without it, they may miss important information entirely.

When posting, take a moment to describe what's happening in the image and include the details that matter.

A little alt text can make a big difference in accessibility.

Service Animals are an important extension of a disabled person. They provide life saving tasks and services for their handler. To avoid disrupting a working assistance animal, never pet, talk to, make eye contact with, or feed a service animal. Keep other pets away and leashed. Treat the animal as an extension of medical equipment and always address the handler instead of the animal.
