Praised be the Lord! LEMA Missionaries arrived Amuria, Uganda. Thanks for your prayers. The work of this mission started while we were in the States. God was already working in the hearts of our missionaries and in the hearts of the people of Amuria. Now, the Holy Spirit led miracle of joined hearts begins! WHAT MAKES LEMA'S MINISTRY TRAINING UNIQUE?
LEMA's training programs are holistic in that our students are required to learn both theological knowledge and technical/agricultural skills in order to graduate from LEMA. We called it Tent-Making strategy, and it is both biblical and practical. In Acts 2, Peter preached one sermon and 3,000 got saved. It will make sense that he immediately became a fulltime Pastor and most likely had assistant pastors too. Most persons called to be pastors do not receive the same upsurge in membership as Peter experienced under the power of the Holy Spirit. They are more like the Apostle Paul, who also under the Holy Spirit had to work with his own hands to make a living while to fulfilling his ministry.

Thus, Pastor Uche Eboh trained in Computer Literacy as well as Solar systems installation while completing his bachelor's degree at LEMA Seminary. Today, he is using both his theological knowledge and his technical knowledge to train our students in Uganda during his one-month mission work in Uganda.

LEMA SEMINARY STAFF IN NIGERIA ARRIVES UGANDA
Pastor Uche Eboh, the deputy Registrar of the LEMA Theological Seminary has arrived in Uganda ahead of the 2026 CLEAR Conference (Christian Leadership Education for Africa Revival).
While in the Amuria-Uganda campus, Uche will be teaching a class on Biblical Greek and participating at the CLEAR Conference.

A first-class (Summa cm laude) graduate of LEMA Seminary and an emerging church planter, Uche also holds the Faith and Higher Education professional certificate from Calvin University, Grand Rapids.

EMBRACE THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - A summary of the Reflection by Rev. Dr. Christy Lipscomb at the 2026 All Nations Pentecost Service held at Calvin University Chapel, Grand Rapids on May 31,2026.

Waiting is not easy, especially when we do not know exactly what the waited outcome will be like and the process leading to it. That is where trusting God comes in. Through the prophets, God promised to pour out his Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus affirmed this promise and asked the disciples not to leave Jerusalem but to WAIT for the promised Holy Spirit. They did not know how the Holy Spirit would come but they waited. They did not know that tongues fire will rest on their heads when the Holy Spirit comes but they obediently waited. Noone told them that there will be a mighty rushing wind or that they will speak in foreign languages, but they waited. All they knew was that the coming of the Holy Spirit was good for them; that the Holy Spirit will be their counsellor, advocate, comforter; teach them all truths and give them power to become his witnesses. They knew the outcome of the coming of the Holy Spirit, but they did not know how it will happen. They trusted God and waited. They waited in prayer, being guided by the word of God.

On the Pentecost Sunday, while they waited, the Holy Spirit came and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. People from all Nations heard them in their native languages, declaring the wonders of God. They were emboldened to witness for Christ in Jerusalem and beyond. The same Holy Spirit is present with us, now, today and always. When we are unsure of the future or have a desire of what the Lord would do for us, with us and in us, can we embrace His presence and wait for his leading?

With great words of encouragement, Rev Christy invited us to a life of waiting on the Holy Spirit, trusting him for the process and the outcome and allowing him to lead us while we keep in step with Him.

EMBRACE THE PROMISE- A Reflection on the Promise of the Holy Spirit by Rev Cody Kuehl at the 2026 All Nations Pentecost Service.
Many Christians believe that the promise of the Holy Spirit made through the Old Testament Prophets and our Lord Jesus Himself had been fulfilled on the Pentecost Sunday, 2000 years ago. On that special Sunday, celebrated as the Birthday of the Church, the early disciples were filled with the Holy spirit and where heard speaking in foreign languages, "declaring the wonders of God". While this fulfillment of the promise of the Holy Spirit empowered the church to reach all Nations with the gospel, the promise is still active for us today and need to be fulfilled in us. The promise to be given a new heart; to be guided by the Holy Spirit; to be comforted, taught and counselled by the Holy Spirit etc are still active and ongoing for us today. Pastor Cody, therefore invited God's people to embrace these promises and to keep in step with the Holy Spirit.

IT WAS ALL JOY AT THE 2026 ALL NATIONS PENTCOST SERVICE.
Great music, diverse worshippers from "All Nations" and denominations were present and most importantly, the Holy Spirit filled us with joy; we rejoiced together as one body of Christ, we celebrated our unity in the Holy Spirit and we gave thanks.

THE SUNDAY AFTER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Even as the world system seeks to divide us, God calls us to unity. The Pentecost provides an opportunity for us to forge unity and collaboration among our churches. Since this year's Pentecost fell on the Memorial Day weekend, the 2026 All Nations Pentecost Worship is fixed for May 31, the Sunday after the Memorial Day at 6PM. TODAY -some will say Happy Birthday Church! Why? It is the Pentecost Sunday when the disciples of Jesus, gathering in Jerusalem received the Holy Spirit, uniting them and empowering them together as a church to reach ALL NATIONS with the gospel.

NEXT SUNDAY EVENNING! Area Churches in Grand Rapids will celebrate that unity in the Holy Spirit, the Birthday of the Church and empowerment to reach the nations at the ALL-NATIONS WORSHIP to be held at Calvin University Chapel in Grand Rapids.
