“It has been an honor to serve as president. I'm proud of how much our club has grown and accomplished over the last two years, despite the many difficulties we encountered. And the impact that we've had on our community. It has been fulfilling to watch our members grow into leaders. I want to thank those who supported me by simply showing up to my meetings every week, even when they were virtual. Thank you to the ones who made the time in their schedules to tirelessly work with me countless late nights, assisting me to ensure that events ran smoothly. And for reminding me to not give up when my efforts felt pointless. Your constant encouragement and dedication inspired me to be a better leader. And motivated me to find ways to give back to the community as we navigated through the additional challenges brought on by the pandemic. I hope that our strength and resilience will continue to shine in the years to come.”

“I joined CKI when I was allowed to serve as the faculty advisor. Since then, I have met so many amazing people and have loved being a part of such a caring organization. I can’t imagine my life without it.”

“I joined Circle K so I can work with other people to help even more people. Having multiple people come together to create a better community is something that I'll always be happy to see."

“I decided to join Circle K to continue volunteering after being in Key Club in high school. I enjoy giving back to a community and helping others feel cared for!”

“I joined Circle K because I enjoy helping out others in different ways. That can include volunteering in a soup kitchen, cleaning up local parks, to spreading awareness about the things going on in the world. Although I was always intrigued by Key Club in high school, I never got the chance to join. After joining CKI, I found a sense of community. I met so many wonderful people doing great things.”

"When Ariena approached me about joining Circle K back in late October, I hesitated. But shortly after joining, I learned to like and appreciate the true meaning of the organization. After learning more about this club as a member, I wanted to contribute more and help Circle K grow even larger by serving on the board!"

Why did you join CKI?

“I joined Circle K because I was a member of Colleges Against Cancer. I heard of Circle K through another member. I joined later than some other members. But everyone was so welcoming to me I never felt intimidated or left out. I found a second family in the club. It has become so important to me over the last couple of years that I wanted to stay and serve on the board to give back to an organization that’s given me so much.”
