Oswego High School Class of 79

Last night was one of those special nights where the stars aligned just right! The weather was perfect, venue was awesome, food was delicious, music was great and of course the people were amazing! It was so much fun reconnecting with my classmates. I have to say I was a little nervous before this weekend hoping that everything would workout. Well it did and even better than I thought! So I want to shout a big thanks to the people at the Fox Valley Kickers club. A big thanks to Jason Ammenhauser. A big thanks to the bartenders Ann Baker and Missy Plohr. A big thanks to Ronnie Lewis our DJ, and of course a big SHOUT OUT to the Oswego High School Class Of 79!! I told everybody that our class is a lot of FUN! And it sure is!! It brought me a lot of joy to see the smiles, hear the laughter and listen to the stories. It really was a special night!

OHS 45th Class of 79 reunion is coming up this weekend! Friday is a meetup at the Oswego Inn and Saturday will be the reunion at the Fox Valley Kickers. I think all bases are covered good food, DJ, decorations, great bartenders and great venue (Fox Valley Kickers club). I am excited to see everybody to say the least. It will be a time to share memories and catch up to reconnect. I have been reconnecting with classmates for the last couple months and I have to say it's been a joy. I asked myself why does it take a reunion to just drop a line and say "Hi". So during this reunion exchange numbers, share social media profiles and stay connected. We spent 4 years of our lives seeing each other everyday in that place called Oswego High School. The memories, friendships, and experiences are with us for a lifetime. I recently went to a car show and the young kids were looking at the old muscle cars. I would tell these kids of stories of what it was like growing up in the 70s. They stood there bewildered and wide eyed saying "that is so cool" lol. It was a special time and let's have fun this weekend!! Great times!

Well here is the Venue for our 45th Class reunion bash at the Fox Valley Kicker club. If the weather is good we can hang out on the outdoor patio with a firepit. We have a bag area for some games. If gambling is your thing they have machines inside. They have a huge golfing video game that is pretty cool if you missed the golf outing on Friday. If the weather is not cooperative the back room is cozy but big. So hope to see you there would love to see Class Of 79!! Plus I told Annie and Missy that our class is a lot of fun!
