🎣 HISTORY MADE. 🎣

The Illinois High School Bass Fishing season began with more than 300 teams and 600+ anglers, but your Oswego Panthers made sure their names would be remembered.

This season was one for the record books:
🏆 First-ever Conference Tournament Champions
🏆 Lake Shabbona Tournament Champions
🏆 IHSA Regional Champions (2nd consecutive year)
🏆 Qualified for the IHSA State Finals for the first time in school history after a Top-10 finish at Sectionals

Ryan Stork and Nathan Overstreet, alongside Coach Boyle, took on a stacked 60-boat field at the two-day IHSA State Championship on Lake Shelbyville.

After sitting in 24th place following Day 1, the Panthers came roaring back with a monster final round. Their Day 2 catch was the THIRD-BEST bag of the tournament’s final day, launching them all the way to a Top-10 finish and 9th place overall in the state of Illinois!

From 24th to 9th against the best teams in the state - an incredible display of determination, grit, and championship-level fishing!

Congratulations on the 4th place finish at state today for the Oswego Panthers Softball team! Congrats to Head Coach Annie Scaramuzzi and the team as they bring home their third consecutive state trophy! Come and greet the team as they make their way to Oswego High School between 5:30-6:00. 🧡🥎💙
