On July 3rd, Spevak Percussion Concepts is excited to start a new tradition. We are offering a free movie night on the big screen for the viewing of "Hamilton" written by the legendary Lin-Manuel Miranda. This PG-13 film tells the life story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton using a dynamic blend of hip-hop, R&B and traditional Broadway tunes. From beginning until end, it's an absolute musical/rhythmic thriller filled with tons of valuable American History.

Please note that Hamilton does contain some colorful language and viewer discretion is advised. The film is just over 2.5 hours long and might not be suitable for all younger children. Tickets are free but please let us know how many people are coming by filling out this form. We will be powering up the popcorn machine and offering free water bottles at this event.

Doors open at 6:10 pm on Friday, July 3rd. Movie begins at 6:30 sharp. Seating is "first come, first served". Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend but please register now! We need to know how much popcorn to cook up!

We are so excited to announce that master drummer Camara Abou will be joining us for a week-long residency from July 28th to August 4th. He will be working closely with our students at the studio, culminating in their upcoming recitals. While we will be focused on preparations that week, Abou would be more than happy to accommodate some additional, in house workshops and private lessons during his visit. As both a performer and educator, he brings immense value to our community. Please contact us directly if you would like to participate in any capacity.
