Happy Hearts wants to wish each of our families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! I am blessed to have each one of you at our Center. Thank you again for trusting us with your little ones!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY HEARTS!!!!! One year ago this week we opened our doors to our first little ones. Today we are full with a wait list!! You can not imagine what an incredibly amazing feeling this is. We are here and going strong!! It was worth all the time, effort, paperwork, phone calls, meetings, and even the set-backs along the way.
I am truly thankful for continued support from all my daycare parents, my staff and my own family. I am so proud of Happy Hearts. It warms my heart to hear the wonderful things people say about us. Here's to making the next year even more awesome ❤️

Today is one of those days when my heart is just so full of thankfulness for our little day care center. What am i thankful for? Lots!!! Baby giggles. Baby cuddles. Excited toddler "gibberish". Preschooler hugs. Hearing the words "Miss Robin, I love you!". Watching these little ones grow. Artwork and projects. Happy faces and smiles. Our big maple tree in the play area. Spontaneous learning times. Nap time (okay, I just had to include that). Trying new foods. Sharing. Staff who take their jobs seriously. I could keep going!
These things and SO MUCH more are what cause our parents to say how much THEY love Happy Hearts. I am grateful that I can help them to feel comfortable leaving their little ones. It can be so scary. My heart is happy when they tell me they do not worry about their children here. That is what we are all about 💖

I don't usually put personal things on my day care page, but I feel this is important. I want to give a big thank you to all my day care staff and families who have been so supportive throughout my cancer treatment. For those who are unaware - in December 2016 I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in my left shoulder area. First came 5 months of a new cancer therapy medication. Then 7 weeks of TOMO - radiation.
I travel to Rochester each day for treatment. I am thankful that I have the energy to still be at the Center each afternoon. I couldn't imagine not being there with the kids! My journey is not over yet. However, I know that I have much support.
My staff are doing an amazing job of keeping the Center running smoothly. I am thankful for their commitment and care for the children. Thank you also to my parents for your understanding and your concern for my health. Thank you again for trusting Happy Hearts with your little treasures. We love and value each one!!!

Happy Hearts will have some preschool openings in September. (Children ages 3,4 and 5 year olds not in Kindergarten). Small class sizes provide more opportunities for teacher interaction and child participation. Our children are learning, growing and thriving! Our preschool rooms have a daily routine with a mix of educational activity,as well as play time! Message me for more information or if you would like a tour!

Happy Hearts has a couple "summer only" spots for July and August in our preschool and toddler rooms. These summer spots can be full or part time. We will also have a few full time slots in toddler and preschool this fall. Message me here on Facebook or call the center and leave a message for Robin. Happy Hearts offers a warm, home like atmosphere and caring staff. Children are offered a variety of learning opportunities each day. We would love to have you become part of our center!

The kiddos thoroughly enjoyed their extended play times outside recently with the warmer weather. It was good to let them run and get their wiggles out. Our toddler and preschool classes were busy this winter making fun crafts and learning new things. Some of our themes included pizza, space, winter fun, hibernation, and of course the various holiday celebrations. Our infants have been working on rolling, crawling, sitting and even walking!! We are hoping to open our second preschool room soon. Still searching for just the right teacher!! Lots of good things happening around here :)

December was a blur as we kept busy around the day care center. We added a few new families/ kiddos. Always exciting to have someone new come in and fall in love with our day care! We truly do strive to keep the atmosphere calm and happy for staff and children. When you are here for more than "just a job" it shows!!! Our children created so many wonderful crafts this month, including some special gifts for their parents/guardians. They also learned many new things. Unfortunately, I spent a couple weeks in the hospital this month. I am stable now, but will be following up by outpatient to address an issue that started the whole illness. I am so excited to get back to the day care this week. I miss my staff and little ones so much

It is so refreshing to have a job that you do not dread going to each day. The longer we are open, the more I believe I chose the right name for the day care center. Hearts are truly happy here. Anyone who comes in comments on several things: how clean the building is, how happy the staff are, how content the children are and the home-like atmosphere. I am so thankful for the families that trust us with their little ones and for my staff who truly care for the children. We are at half capacity now. Still have several preschool slots. My biggest challenge in filling them is that we can not offer part time/pro-rated hours. If you know any 3-4 year olds who need an awesome day care, send them our way!!!
