Illinois law now requires schools to report bullying to parents within 24 hours - Chalkboard Review Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed the measure into law despite opposition from numerous school groups who said the time period is not feasible.

Did anyone attend the OEHS collaboration parent meeting today at the District Administration Center? This is a good opportunity to have a seat at the table and discuss what matters to you and your students. I am not sure this is being well-attended. There is 1 more session tomorrow at 5-6pm. We cannot impact change if we do not show up. I am attending tomorrow night at 5pm; I want to be part of the conversation and be able to provide my input. I encourage you to sign up and attend.

TONIGHT....Wednesday, April 12...... there is a community forum at Old Post Elementary School that will begin at 6:30pm that is open to all parents and community members to provide input on what attributes are most important in the next superintendent. If you are interested in attending the forum please enter through door number 1 and proceed to the gymnasium.
There will be another forum next Tuesday, April 18, for parents and community members to provide input to the search firm as well. That forum will also be held at Old Post Elementary, 100 Old Post Road, Oswego, Illinois at 6:30pm and you should enter through door 1.

Oswego East High School Key Club Food Truck Fest!
A portion of the proceeds from the truck will go towards an OE Key Club Senior scholarship! The event will take place during our annual Welcome to the Pack night where incoming Freshman and their parents will come to tour the school and meet teachers. Several local food truck venders will be in attendance this evening. All are welcomed!

Everyone is invited to participate in an online survey used to inform the search and selection process for the next SD 308 Superintendent. The survey is open now through April 16.

I want to thank everyone who supported me during my campaign. While I may not have won the election, I am grateful for the opportunity to have shared my vision for our school district. I want to congratulate my opponents on their victory and wish them all the best in improving our school district. I hope they will work hard to make our schools a better place for all students, teachers, and staff. With that being said, this is not the end of our mission. I will continue to be an advocate for our students and will work to improve our school district.
