Shout out to our PHENOMENAL Program Director Aimee Lussier for earning the “NH Afterschool Program Administrator of the Year Award,” recognized by NH Out of School Time and presented by Sonjia Tainter! Small things done with great love & devotion are really no small thing at all. The impact Aimee has made through our afterschool program extends statewide, and that is an incredible accomplishment! We are so lucky to have her leadership making such a lasting difference in the lives of the children, families, and community she serves. 🥳😊

🍦 Let's Make Next Friday Extra Sweet! 🍦

Our Ossipee Rec summer campers recently took an ice cream poll, and the results are in! 🍨 Vanilla came out on top, with Cookie Dough and Mint Chip not far behind.

But we also learned something surprising—out of 70 campers, only 27 have ever been to Eldridge's Family Sugar Shack. We think every child deserves the chance to experience this local favorite!

Next Friday, the School's Out! team hopes to treat 70 campers and 10 staff members to a fun trip to Eldridge's for ice cream. A kiddie cup costs just $4.34, and it will take about $350 to make this special outing happen.

💙 Ms. Lussier and Ms. O'mazing have already donated the first $50 to get us started!

If you're able, please consider matching their donation or giving whatever you can. Every dollar brings us closer to creating a simple but meaningful summer memory for these kids.

We appreciate End 68 Hours of Hunger for their support and dedication to our afterschool community, full bellies and full hearts make all the positive difference for our students!🩵🩵🩵

Kids in School's Out! after school program at Ossipee Central School had fun each Friday learning how to prepare and cook a variety of healthy foods. Funding for this program was provided by End 68 Hours of Hunger. Jan Brooks and Eileen Leavitt, coordinators of End 68 Hours of Hunger, display the "Thank you" from students in the Funky Foodie Friday program.

Free bike program is back! Check it out👇

We are beyond excited to be bringing back an event from the past!!!

Mark your calendars, on Tuesday, July 28th, we will be having Bike Safety & Giveaway Day! This event will begin at 11:00am in the parking lot next to the Ossipee Central School Ballfield. This event is for Ossipee & Effingham residents ages 1-15 (ish).

After we learn about some important bike safety tips from our local first responders, all children in attendance will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a free bike!!!! Only one raffle ticket per child; additional raffle tickets cannot be purchased; must be present to receive a raffle ticket. Ossipee Valley Rotary will also be on hand to give out helmets to those who need one.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: We are looking for local businesses and residents to donate new bicycles or money to be put towards the purchase of bicycles. Any businesses that donate a bicycle will receive social media shoutouts and have their logo displayed at the event.

Anyone wishing to donate a bike or funds should reach out to us at [email protected]. We are happy to pick up bikes or donations upon request.
