For families currently living outside of the Oskaloosa School District:
This is a reminder that the open enrollment deadline for the upcoming school year is March 1, 2026.

Please note:
- If you are currently open-enrolled, you do not need to reapply.
- If you are in the program and have other children not currently enrolled in Oskaloosa but plan to enroll them for next year, they need to apply.
- If you have children entering kindergarten, their deadline is September 1, but we encourage you to apply as soon as possible so that you can make curriculum requests for them.
- If you know of friends or family who are planning to open enroll for next year, please remind them of the deadline. Many may be unaware of the changes to the law enacted in 2024.

For those who need to apply, please use this link: https://educate.iowa.gov/media/11478/download?inline. By March 1, you must submit a separate application for each child to both the Oskaloosa School District AND your resident district.

Way to go, Ellie and Rylee!

Oskaloosa Girls Swim team had a great night finishing 3rd at Williamsburg Monday setting 3 new School records.

The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Vivian Bolibaugh, Rylee Klyn, Ella Walter, and Penelope Morrison swam 1:47.70 breaking the previous record of 1:47.89

The 400 Freestyle Relay team of Ella Walter, Ellie Fross, Rylee Klyn and Penelope Morrison finished in 4:11.20 breaking the previous record of 4:11.49

50 Freestyle.. Penelope Morrison swam 26.07 breaking her own school record time that she set last week.
