Teen Money student Faith Simmons participated in a semester-long stock market simulation with 140 other 8th-grade students. Students were given $15,000 to invest in three stocks of their choice, and they tracked the growth and losses over the entire semester. Faith invested in shares of Nvidia, Micron, and Sinclair Oil for four months. She increased her portfolio value by $5,917! An incredible accomplishment in a short time! She learned that her portfolio value will fluctuate regularly, that TIME will have a large impact on her investment, and that she and her dad made a great investing team! Congratulations Faith! You are hired!
