Today we welcomed a new cohort of educators to the 2026–2027 ArtsCore Collaborative! 🎉
Over the next four days, these dedicated teachers will learn, create, collaborate, and discover new ways to integrate the arts into teaching and learning. Together, they'll build meaningful connections with colleagues across grade levels and disciplines while exploring innovative practices that inspire creativity, engagement, and belonging in every classroom.
We're excited to begin this journey together. Welcome to the ArtsCore community! ❤️🎨

The ArtsCore Student Organization (A*O) has been named Outstanding Student Organization of the Year, recognizing its leadership, collaboration, and impact on campus and the education community.
A*O empowers future educators to integrate the arts into their academic and professional journeys. Board members meet bi-weekly to plan events, lead outreach, and serve as ambassadors for the School of Education and Human Services.
Collaboration is central to A*O’s success, with partnerships across campus enhancing interdisciplinary programming. The organization also prioritizes member engagement through events, mentorship, and recognition for active involvement.
Beyond campus, A*O supports local students and educators through service initiatives such as creating thank-you cards, assembling “teacher survival kits,” and making winter hats and tie blankets for underserved students.
This award highlights A*O’s commitment to building a strong community of future educators dedicated to creativity, collaboration, and meaningful impact.
Congratulations!
