De-escalation is not about sending children away.
It's about showing up with presence, even in challenging moments.

Grounded adults help dysregulated children return to calm more quickly and learn from the experience.
Staying regulated allows us to offer connection instead of distance, and that connection becomes the foundation for real change๐Ÿ’œ

Yesterday was a beautiful picture of a community coming together!โค Thanks to the Community Bike Program, 31 of our students were able to receive free bikes!! ๐Ÿšฒ ๐Ÿšด This year we partnered with the Communities at Oshkosh North program to coordinate the event. They were SUCH a help!!! They coordinated with our neighbors at Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church for our distribution site this year and contacted local media. We also want to give a huge shout out to Cummins Inc, as we were able to provide helmets and bike locks to all students through grant money from them. Thank you to everyone for making these smiles possible!!! โ˜บ ๐Ÿคฉ ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
