Shapiro STEM Academy

2nd grade was using engineering testing for the last 2 weeks to build and test mass, height and length of marble runs. Today was our "all out day" where students were able to design, test, fix and solve a problem with their marble runs. I have a feeling that there may be some research and development engineers in our future!

CARE Days 2026 10th Anniversary Celebrating Abilities Rallying Everyone

Yesterday was a great day for our Bike & Walk to School Day! 🚲👟☀️

It was amazing to see many students and families choosing active ways to start the school day. From bikes and scooters to walking with friends, our school community showed up with lots of energy and smiles!

2nd Grade received a scholarship from the EAA Youth Program! We were able to experience the Paper Pilots Program in connection to our last literacy unit where we’ll be learning about aviation. ✈️ Thank you EAA - The Spirit of Aviation for helping our learning take flight!
