We are doing emotional therapy still at this time
Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies
Instruction and assisted therapies are equine based that incorporate differently- abled individuals as well as ablebodied individuals.
Our program, here at Busy H Acres, is geared toward improving physical, emotional and cognitive skills on or around Equines safely while having fun in the process. Human AND Equine health, wellbeing and safety are our top priorities.
Feeding animals (horses, cats, dog). Cleaning stalls and paddocks. Misc chores like mending fences and running equipment. Experience preferred but will train. Proof of covid 19 vacc required. Flexible Schedule. Pay starts $10/ hr.
We will be up and ready for lessons soon. Please let us know when you are ready for a therapeutic session, equestrian lesson, or ground therapeutic session.
Come on out and have a session with our sensory friendly equine. She is a gently giant and very compassionate. Lets shake out the winter and chilly spring blues. Its time for healing spring!
The last 12 months have been difficult here. I lost my Dad and my Mom has just been diagnosed with memory loss issues. We are down to 2 Therapy horses so I have not been teaching this year. If anyone wants lessons, I can do some individual ones. Just give me a text or e-mail @ barbarahampton53
@ gmail.com. Thanks.

Spring is now officially here. We survived the Storm of the Century with no injuries or damages. Thank God! Our prayers go out to the centers who were not so lucky.
We survived the Storm of the Century. No roof damages anywhere on the property and all critters are fine. So sorry to hear about other centers who were not so lucky. Our prayers are with you.
This summer has gone by really fast. I have one student and one Therapy horse at the moment. The other one is wrestling with some respiratory issues. But we are moving along. Hay has to get up and horses have to be worked. It should slow down soon.
