Second Chance

Another semester grad is one that is no stranger to us! Shay has been with us for multiple grade levels and has made huge connections with so many staff members. She truly is a part of our forever Second Chance Family! There were times she doubted herself, but we ALL knew she could do it. We have been rooting for her since day 1!

Shay- Never stop believing in yourself. You are an incredibly smart, talented lady that has so much to offer this world! You have already overcome so many obstacles in life, you didn’t just beat the odds, you crushed them and graduated early!!!

We have a total of FIVE semester Grads!!!!!! Starting out is Kevin!!! Kevin came to us for his senior year with a strong academic record and needing minimal classes to complete! He came everyday with a positive attitude, participated in spirit weeks, and has already started at the technical college! We are so proud of you Kevin and can’t wait to see what your future holds!

It’s been awhile since we’ve updated our page! We have a lot of great things happening here that we can’t wait to post about soon!

First off, we are back to volunteering and giving to our community! Yesterday, we helped at the food pantry! This is a new partnership for us and our students did an amazing job! Can’t wait to help again in January!

Congrats Trent and Bradyn!!! So glad you participated in the ceremony tonight!!! We are so proud of you both!

Today we celebrate another graduate 🥳🥳🥳

Trent is another student who has been with us since his Freshman year. This guy has left footprints on so many hearts throughout his years in Oshkosh schools. Regularly, teachers from former schools check in on him! He is hard working, not only at school but in the community holding a job, and at home being a father.

Trent~ We are all so proud of you! We may have held you to a higher standard this last year, but only because we knew your potential. Keep working hard, continue your education and keep smiling! We have enjoyed the years of jokes, fishing stories, and smiles!

This month we took Black History learning into multiple classes. History, English, and Art all came together to learn and celebrate many powerful African American people.

Students and Staff worked together on this beautiful mural while they researched all of these people. It’s been amazing to see it come together piece by piece.
