Abigail was a student of mine for a handful of years and just recently stepped away from her lessons as a senior because there just weren’t enough hours in a day! Looks like she will be graduating this weekend with quite the accomplishment! Congratulations, Abby! Keep being the great kid you are!

I played for a taize service tonight at church. I get the joy and honor of working with some talented musicians- here are a few of them. Four part harmony that sounds like a choir. Simplistic music but yet so beautiful!

Annie, an online piano student in Texas, played a prelude piece before their church service on Sunday. Looks like a big church and a big, beautiful piano too! Way to go, Annie!

Last night, Abby put on a recital for her family. She played a variety of music and gave a bit of an explanation about why she chose each piece. Abby is a senior this year and has been such a joy to work with and get to know over the past handful of years. I’m confident the piano will be a part of her life for many years to come. Congratulations on a beautiful recital, Abby!
Sawyer, Jenna, Rylee, Theo, Nash, Noxx, Ivy, Bo, Brielle and Max…you all did a fantastic job at the recital tonight. Congratulations!
Played at church this morning and threw the whole congregation for quite a loop on the last song. I started out on the wrong song! The singer sang the right song and the congregation followed. I had to find the page for the right song while they all sang without me. Then when I came in with the right song it was in a different key than the wrong song I had started! We ended strong and all was well but it goes to show we are all human and all make mistakes. Smile about it, learn from it and carry on!
