Community Night was a welcome opportunity to join in the fun and spend time with members of the Oshkosh community.

Events like this strengthen the connection between our university and the community we are proud to call home. The evening brought tremendous energy to campus, and the sunset gave us a pretty remarkable finale.

Thank you to everyone who came out and to the many people who worked behind the scenes to make the night possible.

Global partnerships become meaningful when they create opportunities to learn from one another.

It was a pleasure to spend time with the visiting faculty delegation from Universidad Católica de Santa María, Peru, during their time at UW–Oshkosh.

As part of our growing partnership, the faculty participated in classes, engaged with colleagues across campus, and experienced our university community firsthand.

I especially enjoyed our lunch and conversation together, hearing their perspectives and discussing how academic partnerships can create new opportunities for faculty and students across borders.

Every student’s UWO story begins with a welcome, and often, a Titan Captain is the person who makes that first connection.

I enjoyed spending time with our Titan Captains and thanking them for the important role they play in welcoming prospective students and their families to campus.

As some of the first representatives of UWO our visitors meet, they share their experiences, answer questions and help students understand not only what our university offers, but what it feels like to belong here.

I’m grateful for the energy, warmth and spirit they bring to every interaction. Thank you for representing UWO so well and making those first moments on campus meaningful.

Improving healthcare in Wisconsin takes all of us working together.

The Healthcare Forward Symposium at UW–Oshkosh brought together leaders from healthcare, higher education, government and regional organizations to share perspectives on workforce needs, rural access to care and the partnerships needed to strengthen our healthcare system.

I’m grateful to keynote speaker Matt Kures and to all of the healthcare leaders, policymakers, educators, and partners who contributed to the conversation.

These are the kinds of discussions that help us listen, learn and build stronger solutions together for the communities we serve.

It was a pleasure to welcome distinguished UW–Oshkosh alumnus and Culver's co-founder Craig Culver back to campus.

Craig’s journey from UWO graduate to one of Wisconsin’s most recognized entrepreneurs is a source of pride for our University and an inspiration to generations of Titans. His continued engagement with his alma mater—and his commitment to supporting students, entrepreneurship and the communities Culver’s serves—reflect the lasting impact our alumni make across Wisconsin and beyond.

We are grateful for Craig’s friendship, leadership and enduring connection to UW–Oshkosh.

Titan Takeoff is more than registering for classes. It is the first step toward finding your place at UW–Oshkosh.

Students do not simply enter a college. They join a community of faculty, staff and fellow Titans who will encourage them, care for them and help them find their footing. Over the years ahead, they will discover new strengths, build lasting relationships and open doors to opportunities they may not yet have imagined.

Welcome, new Titans. This is where your journey begins—and where you begin to discover what is possible. 🖤💛

Community is at the heart of UW–Oshkosh.

This Friday, I invite our students, employees, neighbors and families to join us for Community Night—an evening of activities, connection and an outdoor showing of Zootopia 2. Activities begin at 6 p.m., with the movie at 8 p.m.

This free event is made possible through collaboration among UW–Oshkosh, the Oshkosh Public Museum, Read More and the Oshkosh Police Department. Bring a blanket, gather your family and friends, and enjoy an evening together.

The generosity of the UWO community speaks to who we are and the responsibility we share to support the communities we serve. I am grateful to everyone who contributed essential supplies for individuals and families affected by the recent storms in Menasha and across the Fox Cities. Thank you also to University Police and our campus partners for helping ensure these donations reached those who need them most.

Grateful for the opportunity to spend time with the UW-Oshkosh Foundation Board of Directors at its annual meeting.

Our conversations were a reminder that the future of UWO is strengthened by people who believe deeply in our students and are willing to invest their time, insight and support in their success. I appreciate the board’s partnership and the important role its members play in connecting our University with alumni, donors and community partners.

Thank you for helping expand what is possible for our students and the entire Titan community.
