We’re Moving to a New Page!

We’re excited to introduce the new Oshkosh Community Learning Centers (CLC) page!

As we continue to strengthen and connect our programs across the Oshkosh Area School District, our Lighted School House (LSH) and MELT pages will be transitioning to one unified Oshkosh Community Learning Centers page.

Our new page will be the place to stay connected with everything happening across our CLC programs, including:

• Program updates and announcements
• Student activities and learning opportunities
• Family and community events
• Community partnerships
• Photos and highlights from our CLC sites
• Before-school, afterschool, and family programming

This Lighted School House page will eventually be sunset and removed, so be sure to make the move with us.

LSH & MELT page Update

We’re making it easier for families, staff, and community members to stay connected with our OASD Community Learning Centers!

The current Lighted School House (LSH) and MELT pages will soon be sunset and eventually deleted as we transition to one unified OASD Community Learning Centers (CLC) page.

LSH and MELT programs are not going away! This change brings our programs together under one page, making it easier to find updates, announcements, photos, events, family resources, and other information from CLC programs across the Oshkosh Area School District.

We are creating a new OASD CLC page and will share the link here as soon as it is ready.

Once the new page is live, we encourage everyone who currently follows the LSH or MELT pages to follow the new CLC page. These existing pages will remain available for a short transition period before being permanently deleted.

Thank you for being part of our CLC community. We’re excited to have one place to celebrate and share everything happening across our programs!

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We currently have hundreds of students on our waitlists across all CLC programs. If you know of anyone who would like a well-paid part-time job or a High/College student just looking for a few hours, please have them email me at [email protected].

All notifications will be going out this afternoon for after-school acceptances. Unfortunately, many things are keeping us from accepting a lot more students. A separate letter will be sent out with more information about what we are doing to ensure no child is waitlisted and all families get to experience our programs.

Good Afternoon,

Due to a sewer backup issue at Washington Elementary, the district and I have decided it would be best to cancel the program tonight. They get crews in the building to fix the issue before school tomorrow. We ask that you pick up your kids from school as soon as possible. Ms. Gengo will call and notify everyone and stay at the school until all students are picked up.
