When were we sold and made to accept the idea that health was about being perfect?

Perfect week, perfect plan, perfect streak. The first time you miss or eat the “wrong” meal, it feels like you failed again.

Stabilize yourself, maybe sit down, clutch your pearls, because we have some big news…

You didn’t fail, that concept is wrong, you didn’t ruin it, and you are fine.

Health is a spectrum, not a finish line. The goal is to let the good outweigh the bad, often enough, to fit your actual life.
Not the short form video version constantly pushing through your screen shackle.

It’s writing, not short, but it may help you reframe your outlook…or not. You have to read it to find out.

5 spots left for our free HYROX Pop-Up Workout this Saturday.

The workout starts at 9:30 AM, but you do not have to be an expert or even know what HYROX is to come check it out

We will be walking through form, pacing, tips, and strategy for movements like sled pushes, sled pulls, rowing, skiing, carries, and wall balls.

You can come to work out, or you can come in, watch, ask questions, and see what HYROX training at Ardent is going to look like.

Then go hit up the best farmers market in Wisconsin!

There is a window in your kid's life right now.

The years where their body and brain are most receptive to building movement, coordination, and a real relationship with their own physicality. The research calls it the FUNdamental and Training to Train stages, roughly ages 6 through 14.

This window does not stay open forever. And right now, in the United States, we are closing it faster than ever. Recess is shrinking. Screen time is winning. Specialization is replacing variety.

We wrote a new blog post about the window, what is happening to it, and what your kid actually needs during these years. We also break down what Ardent's youth programs do that aligns with the research.

Register to join our FREE HYROX pop-up!!

Join us for a free HYROX Pop-Up Workout at Ardent Fitness.

We are launching HYROX training at Ardent, and this event is your chance to come in, try the training style, meet the coaches, and see what the program will feel like before classes officially begin.

HYROX combines running with functional fitness stations like sled pushes, sled pulls, carries, rowing, skiing, and wall balls. The movements are simple and scalable, but the workout is challenging, purposeful, and coached from start to finish.

You do not need HYROX experience.
You do not need to be signed up for a race.
You do not need to be an elite athlete.

This event is for anyone who wants a new challenge, a clear training goal, and a different kind of fitness experience.

Event Schedule:

9:00 AM: Doors open, check-in, and questions
9:30 AM: Group workout begins
10:30 AM: Cool down, program overview, and founding member information
11:00 AM: Event ends

Our HYROX program at Ardent officially starts the week of June 15.
What to bring:

Comfortable workout clothes
Running shoes
Water
A willingness to work hard and try something new

Registration is required so we can plan for space, coaching, and equipment.
