As we quickly approach the fall season, you may notice the water begin to change color and scent! These changes may be due to the presence of harmful algal blooms. Have you seen a harmful aglal bloom recently...?
Learn more about these blooms and how the research team at UW Oshkosh could use your experiences with blooms in study! Post a picture of the blooms you see and upload them using the project hashtags: , , OR visit the team's website to participate in a longer interview!

Last week we announced that sustainability at UW Oshkosh is re-organizing!
Part of this re-organization means transitioning all our social media content to . We want to deliver you a cohesive and clear message.

Be a Citizen Scientist with us by snapping a photo next time you see a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB).
Once you've taken a photo, post it to the social media channel of your choice, tag your location AND our account ! Tell us what you think about the bloom and any details we should know.

We've been working on a big announcement and it's finally time to share!
Sustainability at UW Oshkosh will be re-organizing! This means that the Sustainability Institute for Regional Transformations and the Campus Sustainability Office will be housed under the umbrella of UW Oshkosh Sustainability.
This re-organization will hopefully unite sustainability efforts at UWO and make collaboration easier. Finding sustainability information and resources should become easier for you as everything will be housed in one place!
To follow along with our re-organization, follow our UW Oshkosh Sustainability accounts of Facebook and Instagram (). And keep your eyes peeled for an announcement about our newly designed website there!
Thank you for your interest in sustainability at UWO we hope this change makes pursuing sustainability clearer and easier!
