With heavy hearts, we share that Peace Christian Preschool will be permanently closing at the end of the 2025–2026 school year.
After much prayer and careful consideration, changing needs and challenges in early childhood education have led us to this difficult decision.
For nearly 4 decades, our preschool has been a place of love, learning, and faith for children and families in our community. We are deeply grateful for our incredible staff, families, and all who have been part of this ministry. The impact of these years will continue far beyond our walls.

**OASD 4K and Peace Head Start programs will continue to be held at Peace.**

Oshkosh Area School District schools will be CLOSED on Friday, January 23, 2026, due to forecasted extreme cold.

🟢 All OASD schools and Oshkosh Early Learning will have a traditional Snow Day / No School Day (no virtual learning) on Friday, January 23, 2026.
🟢 All before- and after-school activities, and Oshkosh Recreation Department programs and use of district facilities are also canceled for Friday, January 23, 2026.
🟢 School and afterschool activities will continue as scheduled today, Thursday, January 22. Activities will go on as scheduled on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Student safety is our top priority and this decision has not been made lightly. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this winter season. Stay safe, everyone!

All morning and afternoon 4K, 3K, early childhood classes and SNP at Peace Preschool are canceled for Friday, January 31. This is due to a significant number of students and staff experiencing illness.

Our team will use this time to deep clean our classrooms. We expect to welcome everyone back on Monday.

📣 We're Hiring! Join Our Team as a 4K Team Teacher! 🌟
Do you have a passion for helping young children grow and thrive? We're looking for a compassionate, dedicated 4K Team Teacher to join our early childhood education team!

Location: Peace Preschool 4K
Hours: Days and hours are set by the school year calendar. Must be available to work 7:30 am to 3:05 pm. Hours will be approximately 35 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: Based on education and experience.
Minimum pay for the position is $11/hour.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the 4K teacher in daily classroom activities
Support children in learning through play, structured activities, and individualized support
Help create a positive and nurturing environment for students
Work with a diverse group of young learners to foster social, emotional, and academic growth

Qualifications:
Must be 18 years old and have completed, or be willing to complete: one course in early childhood education or assistant childcare teacher training, abusive head trauma training, CPR and First Aid.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
Experience working with young children, especially in a school setting (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for early childhood education!
