Space telescope uncovers massive galaxies near cosmic dawn CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Astronomers have discovered what appear to be massive galaxies dating back to within 600 million years of the Big Bang, suggesting the early universe may have had a stellar fast-track that produced these “monsters.”

A total lunar eclipse is taking place early on November 8th. In Oshkosh the partial eclipse begins around 3:09 am with the total lunar eclipse starting around 4:16 am and ending around 5:40 am. The Moon will turn a reddish color during totality.

NASA’s Webb Delivers Deepest Infrared Image of Universe Yet NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has produced the deepest and sharpest infrared image of the distant universe to date. Known as Webb’s First Deep Field, this image of galaxy cluster SMACS 0723 is overflowing with detail.

James Webb Space Telescope suffers 1st noticeable micrometeoroid impact just months into flight NASA says we can still expect pristine images on July 12.
The universe is trying to tell us something about the expansion rate. Some good science will come from this.
