Club Nippon Field Trip to Chicago 🤩🗺️
Students took an all-day field trip to Arlington Heights, IL & Chicago, IL today to learn about Japanese food ways, culture, and marketing. We shopped at Mitsuwa Marketplace, grabbed some food in the food court, and headed to a workshop!
Hosted by Sae Iino from Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI), her workshop focused on Japanese v American food ways, marketing tactics, and even history about the Japanese diaspora in Chicago, IL! Students made digital memory boards and enjoyed Chicken Teriyaki for lunch with our workshop host 😋
We ended the day with some shopping and eating around Chinatown, Chicago. What a day!!

Club Nippon Cares 🇯🇵❤️
We love giving back to our community members, especially during summer vacation! This morning, our officers harvested, packed, and donated loads of fresh Japanese greens, lettuce, and hydroponic flora to Hope Fridge in Oshkosh 🥬
