Mrs. Ames & Mr. Leib had a great meeting with the LWV of Winnebago County as we prepare for this year’s Elections Project.

This project isn’t about telling people who to vote for—it’s about strengthening civic participation through nonpartisan voter education. Our AP Government students will help educate future voters about what’s on the ballot, where to vote, and how to research candidates and issues using reliable sources.

Our goal is simple: students educating the citizenry while putting democracy into action.

The behind the scenes work for the 2026-27 school year continues this summer! Our program is excited to work with Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods and all of their wonderful associations to organize a collection drive for our 9/11 Day of Service. Stay tuned for more details!

✨ Communities alumna Madi LeBron continues to make a difference, and now she’s asking for our help!

🌪️ In the wake of the recent storms in Menasha and the surrounding communities, many families have been displaced—and sadly, so have their beloved pets. Madi and her coworkers at Country View Animal Hospital are organizing a donation drive to support animals affected by the storm.

🐾 Please take a look at the list of needed items. If you’re able to help, donations can be dropped off directly at the clinic on Tullar Road, or you can message Gina Wuest-Munig, Communities Leadership teacher, for information about a local drop-off location.

❤️ Let’s show Madi—and these families and pets—that our community is always ready to lend a helping hand.
