And there's more in the happy news category: two of our graduates, Molly Wirz and Jason Neumeyer (also teaching for us now as Instructional Academic Staff) have TIED THE KNOT!! Is the marriage of two of our PS majors unprecedented?? We can't think of any others, but.....there may be future prospects.

Our wonderful student/colleague Bob Krasniewski has passed away. Bob took a class from one of us nearly every semester for quite a few years. He always added significantly to the conversation; he always helped students gain perspective and understand history; he always completed every assignment and sought genuine feedback on his work; he always maintained a sense of humor and a love of learning. As with all good students he helped teach the class, too.
He wished he could rejoin our classes after the pandemic, but it was not to be, because he was fighting cancer. Many of our students here will know and remember Bob fondly. Now it is for us to carry forth his legacy as lifelong learners. We wish we could always have a seasoned non-traditional student in class like Bob. But alas, he was a unique presence, and will be greatly missed.

Note: this is the season when our students land their jobs and accept offers to law schools and graduate schools. We know where a lot of you are going, but we always enjoy hearing from you about your new adventures!
