The Lourdes Academy community is saddened by the impact of yesterday's tornado and storms on so many individuals, families and businesses. During this time, let us come together in prayer to St. Medard, asking him to watch over our neighbors in the Fox Valley.
Saint Medard, patron saint for protection against bad storms,
we ask you to intercede for us during the storms of our lives
as well as the storms in nature.
Protect our families and our homes.
We pray for assistance for the victims of snowstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters,
Loving God, send in more helpers, and multiply resources and supplies
for the aid of those in need.
You calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee;
deliver us from the storms that are raging around us now.
Saint Medard, pray for us.

Sophomores Adelle Balda, Caroline O’Connor, Ava Pacheco and Maci Stegeman, along with their Julie's Touch of Silver team, were crowned the 2026 Grand World Parade Corps and Twirling Corps with Props Champions! They will proudly represent the USA at the World Championships in Italy next March. Congratulations, girls!

‼️Intern Thanks‼️
We would like to thank Nick Oehrlein for stepping up as an intern for us here at Lourdes Academy. He has helped out Brett Baehman on multiple marketing and communications campaigns and projects. From creating social media posts to promoting our Tee It Up For Kids Golf Outing, Nick has done a fantastic job!
When Nick is not working hard for Lourdes, he enjoys his time in prayer, spending quality time with his girlfriend, golfing, reading, and fishing.
Nick has said the best way he knows how to live life is to follow the teachings of John 10:10. “Jesus has come not just to give life, but life in abundance. If you give your life over to Him, Jesus will reorient and increase your meaning and purpose. Living my life by that verse and giving my life to Jesus has changed and bettered my life radically!”

Senior Merryn Jerger recently journeyed to Busan, South Korea, to compete in the 14th World Hapkido Festival & Championships, where she secured 2nd place in her division against a diverse group of competitors from around the globe.
Merryn trains in Taekwondo and Hapkido at the American Black Belt Academy in Oshkosh and currently holds a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo. Her dedication, discipline, and hard work are evident both on and off the mat.
During her trip, Merryn had the privilege of witnessing her instructor, Grandmaster Thomas Swartwood from the American Black Belt Academy, receive his 9th DAN KIDO certification and the esteemed Enduring Spirit Award for his lifelong contributions to Hapkido and his dedication to the World KIDO Federation.
This accomplishment adds to her already impressive martial arts portfolio. Last summer, Merryn earned 2nd place in Women's Junior Sparring at the 2025 United Taekwondo Association (UTA) Grand Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
