Back to School Supply Drive

Thank you to all that have supported the back to school drive so far. We are behind where we want to be at this time. I see we are getting likes and shares from outside our community. I have added a donate button to this post, so if you can donate please know that all donations will go to purchase school supplies for our community.

I know a lot of people were planning to shop this weekend. Please do not forget about those less fortunate that could truly use our help.

American Black Belt Academy is a totally volunteer run not-for-profit martial arts training facility. For over 30 years our goal has always been to be both part of and give back to our community. Over the last 4 years we have been helping the Oshkosh School System by doing a School Supply drive at our School. Each year our students and their families have donated school supplies that we put in bins and take to the local school at the beginning of the school year. Every year we have been fortunate enough to collect more and more supplies. Last year we took bins of supplies to 5 Public Elementary and 2 Parochial Schools. This year our board of directors asked the teaching staff what we thought we could do if we asked for help from our community. As a school we decided to go all in and see what we could do if we had community support behind us.

Please help us by picking up a few extra supplies while out shopping for your children and drop them off at one of our collection’s sites. We have bins located at Cranky Pat’s located at 100 N. Main Street in downtown Oshkosh and another at the New Moon Café also located at 401 N. Main Street also in downtown Oshkosh. If you would like you can also drop off your extra supplies at the American Black Belt Academy located at 208 State Street, Oshkosh between the hours of 4:30 and 8:00PM Monday through Thursday nights. We would love to meet you and thank you personally for your donation.
