We know Mrs. Meyer always finds a way to get it done! Thanks to her dedication and creativity, Oakwood was able to host a USA-themed field day at Winnebago County Park! Thank you to Mrs. Meyer, the Oakwood staff, and volunteers for another epic field day!

‼️ Student volunteers needed TONIGHT! If you’re a 3-5 grade parent, reminder that our Culver’s Fundraiser night is tonight and we need student volunteers to make this happen! The students always LOVE participating in this fundraiser — Sign up for a 30 minute time slot below!! 6-6:30 and 6:30-7 could really use some extra help!!!

To wrap up our Friends-themed Staff Appreciation Week, we hosted “The One With the Lasagne Lunch” for our incredible Oakwood staff! Thank you to Olive Garden for donating salad and breadsticks for staff to enjoy with their lasagna! 🥗
We’re so grateful for a team that truly lives out “I’ll Be There for You” for our students and each other. 🤗

Oakwood staff got the full “Friends” experience today with a Central Perk-inspired Dirty Soda Bar during Staff Appreciation Week complete with a dirty soda recipe honoring each Friends character. 🥤
Staff also battled it out in a hilarious Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament that brought out everyone’s competitive side and kept the laughs going all day long! 👏🏆
Because just like on Friends… we know great days are better when they’re shared with the people who feel like family. ❤️
To our incredible Oakwood staff: thank you for bringing energy, compassion, humor, and heart to our school every single day. We’ll be there for you… because you’re always there for our students. ☕🫶
