At Red Feather Horse Company LLC horses are more than a passion they’re a way of life.
Pt 2 . I pride myself in having a good connection with all of my horses. Some horses would be absolutely terrified and would not come near a person in a situation like this. I’ve spent lots of time building up trust with these girls . They ran right up to me as soon as I got there and I was able to look them both over thoroughly.
You gotta do what you gotta do. I was walking around barefoot because I had sandals on….💧

Had the ponies teeth floated today. Both of them had some Sharp points. They are feeling better than ever now afterwards. It’s extremely important to not only take care of their muscular skeletal system, but also their dental! 🦷
Bleu is definitely a spicey girl! Still wouldn’t trade her for the world! One rein stops are extremely important, especially in cases like this. After sitting for two years and already being a high strung horse the dirt on the side of the wall, startled her and she spooked while I was on her. The one rein stop definitely brought her back down to earth.

Bleu. She’s an absolute powerhouse. I have waited years for a horse like this. I’m so excited for her future with me!
