6th grade is working on an exciting art installation.

This first class did fantastic working together to paint varying sizes of cardboard tubes.

Fun elementary day with kindergarten...
After listening to "The Perfect Square" by Michael Hall, students got a 12 inch red square and tore it into different sizes and shapes. They glued their new pieces to a large yellow paper.
Students learned motor skills by controlling the tearing. They learned how to use their hands as a tool. They learned how to recognize different shapes, how to put them together in a creative way, and how to correctly use art materials, and use their imagination!!!

We are back in the flower business!🌻🌼🌸

This is Nautia's 3rd year (and now a senior!).
Weekly, staff members can fill out a Google form to order a bouquet from our flower garden, probably for the next month.

Bouquets are $6 and the money goes towards the high school art department.

This week is the first for deliveries!

Who doesn't love fresh flowers!!

New this year...
2 rooms! 2 buildings!

This year, I will be in the middle school/high school in the morning and the elementary in the afternoon.

This is a return for me to the elementary. I switched to the high school in 2019 after 21 years at the elementary when Mrs. McNew left to pursue a great business opportunity.

I am really excited to rekindle some of the big projects we did as well as introduce some brand new ones!!

It's going to be an awesome year!🎨🎉🎨🎉🎨🎉

The Art Garden is coming along great!

The bench painted last year has found its new permanent home.

New rock is going in, perennials are blooming, and beds are planted for August bouquets...🌼

Thank you to the JCD landscaping class for helping with the rock!💪

8th grade "Spring" themed outside projects....

Voting by the public, staff, and students chose:
1st place-Hayden Hersey
"Tornado on a Farm"
2nd place-Christian Rutherford
"Birdhouse with Moss"
3rd place-Kendall McArthur
"Rain in the Spring"
4th place-Mason Ryder
"Farm Scene"

All students did their projects at home with the option to collaborate with family and friends.

They all did an amazingly, creative job!!!
