Today, we concluded our final camp of Summer 2026, which was Etiquette Camp. Both young ladies and gentlemen learned about courtesy, table manners, invitations and thank you cards, and more. As a finale, students invited guests to a special reception and tea party to showcase their skills and tell all they've learned. Thank you to our instructors, Kamella Neeley of 4H, Jane Hermerding of the UA Extension office, and ANC's own Darrel Carr for working with the students, and special thanks once again to our friends at Big River Steel for supporting another amazing summer 💙🌞

This week, a fantastic group of young musicians explored different instrument families in Jumpstart Music Camp. Under the instruction of Rivercrest School District 's Sebastien Isom, Noah McClay, and Sally McClay, and Gosnell School District 's Mckenzie Bryeans, students learned songs that can take a semester of beginning band in four short days. This week, several aspiring artists enjoyed art camp. ANC's Rachel Benson Gifford guided them through glazing ceramic plates, textured canvas and acrylic paintings, and a mosaic tray.
