USD 240 Twin Valley Art Abandonment Project

USD 240 Twin Valley Art Abandonment Project Twin Valley students are creating artwork that is then sent all around the world to be dropped for someone else to find and enjoy.

The Twin Valley USD 240 School District includes both Bennington and Tescott schools. This page is to document the joint venture of the art abandonment project between both of the schools in this district. Art abandonment is participating in a random act of kindness by leaving a piece of artwork behind for a stranger to find. Our initial project was inspired by a gentleman named Scott Wong who sta

rted "Flood the Streets with Art" in Wisconsin, USA on Black Friday. Students are to create various kinds of artwork that is then sent to a list of contacts so that it can be "abandoned" in the United States and various countries around the world. Our initial project was a success in large part to the Art Abandonment group here on Facebook. It has only continued to grow because of the generous natures of the various artistic communities around the world.
