FCCLA had the opportunity to cater for a family reunion in Tipton today! The family was celebrating their German heritage, and we fixed them up with German food: Hanchen-Schnitzel, Speckbohnen, and Bratkartoffeln along with rolls, salad, and dessert. I was so busy, I forgot to take good pictures, but here are a few I managed to get.

As we continue celebrating FCCLA week, we want to congratulate Brenda Henke and Susan Miller for winning our contest yesterday! Also, congratulations to Gracie, Haden, Mason, Ava, Justin, Kate, Connor, Gavin, and Charlie on finding the yellow stars. Today’s theme is advocate beyond measure. FCCLA and FACS classes allow students the opportunity to advocate beyond measure for their future careers as well as their independent adult lives. For today’s contest, post or drop a note by Mrs. Knoll‘s room stating how you can advocate beyond measure for yourself or for someone else.

If you missed out on the first deadline, you still have some time left to order! I have run out of #3, #8, & #12, but we still have plenty left of everything else! If you would like to order, please have the order to Jeanne Mans in the high school office by the end of the school day Wednesday! Thank you for supporting OHS FCCLA!

Today, we are continuing to celebrate FCCLA week! Congratulations Amanda Mans and Allie Nicholson for posting winning responses to yesterday’s question! You both won a $15 gift card to a local business. Today’s FCCLA theme is Educate Beyond Measure. Today, we celebrate our educators and those planning on becoming educators. This past year, our educators have definitely educated beyond measure, and we want to thank them for their dedication to their students. Educators, be prepared for a surprise to be dropped off for you today! For today’s contest, post or drop a line by Mrs. Knoll’s room stating how YOU can educate beyond measure because you don’t have to be a teacher to educate those around you!
