Osage Education Foundation

📣 Calling all Osage High School alumni, families, and friends!

I'm looking for story ideas for the annual Osage Education Foundation alumni newsletter, The Spotlight, and I need your help!

Do you know an Osage High School graduate who has done something interesting or noteworthy in their career, volunteer service, community involvement, travels, hobbies, or retirement years? Maybe they've received an award, started a business, served others in a special way, pursued an unusual adventure, or simply have a great story to tell!

We're open to any and all tidbits, big or small! We're interested in stories that might not make the news but would be fun, inspiring, or interesting for fellow Green Devils to read.

No story is too big or too small, and graduates from any class year are welcome!

Please comment below or send me a private message with a name, a little information, or even just a lead that I can follow up on. If you know someone who has a great story, please tag them or share this post!

Let's celebrate the interesting things our Osage graduates are doing and remind everyone that once a Green Devil, always a Green Devil! 💚

Thank you for helping us share the stories of our Osage alumni!

They have a special guest coming to this year's reunion, Harry O (Marlan Krull) will be doing the music and he's asking everyone for 3 of your favorite songs so he can put together a playlist!

S & S Meats and Spirits is providing the meal of Pulled Pork and Ribeye Steak Sandwiches, BBQ sauce, Pasta Salad, and Fresh Fruit. They are highly rated (4.8 on Google reviews!) AND they are local to Osage!

The cost will be $22 per person (includes meal, Legion rent, postage and misc.).

Mike Decklever and Laurie Boehmer

Thanks Wayne (Mike) Decklever.

There are many reasons why a good music program helps students perform better academically! Do you know someone that could fill this role and inspire our students to continue the tradition of musical excellence in Osage?

We are looking for a K-8 music teacher . We are sad to see Wendy Thorson leave as she has been an outstanding music educator and wish the best in retirement. Please share !

The Osage Ed Foundation has made the tough decision to discontinue our annual Fourth of July 'On The Run for Education' Fun Run 5K/1 mile. We cherish the incredible memories and experiences we've shared with all the runners over the years! Thank you for helping us with our mission to encourage and enhance education in Osage.
