Hello Class…we learned of the very sad news that our classmate & longtime friend (since 2nd grade) passed away.
Wayne Herring’s well said words posted on Facebook…
“Yesterday was one year since my dad physically left this world .. pretty much the next day I stopped saying hi to the coffee club every morning on the way to feed my dad and actually joined them ... pretty much every morning, sometimes 7 days a week .. a couple of my classmates and others my age and older. Today I got a call that one of the founders , one of my classmates, for all practical purposes, the healthiest one, had passed away in his sleep. He was single but always with people , always smiling, a little out there, a bit not what would appear normal to most .. but dam we all loved him .. it is a sad day for the Coffee Club! Enjoy life my friends and family we never know when the big guy calls us home! The guy never got angry, just kept on keeping on...living to his own beat of the drums”
We just met up with Kenny in February at Roman Delight…much laughter & story telling going on! Some of you have visited his Second Mountain Sunflower Fields, blooming every year. Keep on smiling…Rest in Peace Kenny❤️🙏

Hello Class…some very sad news that Joe “Chick” Chiccini passed away. He was part of our AEFAPC (any excuse for a party committee) planning our events…reunions, birthday parties, auctions, dances & even a jam session at our picnic. Over the years he would call me to catch up with a six pack in hand. Joe was very knowledgeable in good wine, books he has as reading & always his love & passion for playing music🎶 When his six pack was done, we’d say goodbye!
You can be sure Heaven is rockin’ as he plays his guitar💙🎶🎸

Morning Classmates…some very sad news that Diane Renninger Meyer passed at hospice in Ocala, Florida on February 19, 2026 from breast cancer. Gigi & I talked about Diane’s Sweet 16 birthday party on Renninger’s Hill (of course Gigi helped organize)…poolside, even with a live band! Her father opened the garage door & surprised her with a new car! Hold on to our good memories! Heartfelt condolences go out to her husband Ralph, daughter Robyn & Renninger/Meyer Family. Rest in Peace Diane🙏

Our own Terry Ernst, class of '72, is being inducted into the Blue Mt All-Sports Hall of Fame this Friday night. Ceremony at halftime of the football game, coordinatedby classmate John Kantner.
Terry was an accomplished hurdler on the track team in high school, earning several league and district medals and holding a school record at the time.
Blue Mountain plays Tamaqua Area on Friday night, October 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The game will be a home game, taking place at Blue Mountain Stadium.
