A huge thank you to all of the students who participated in this evening’s July 4th Parade! Your dedication, flexibility, and willingness to represent our band—even in the extreme heat—are truly appreciated.

We’d also like to extend a huge and special thank you to Craig Grimes, a teacher at OHS, and DKG Seed Farms for providing the hayride trailers that carried and drove our band along the parade route. Your generosity helped keep our students safe and comfortable, and we are incredibly grateful for your support of our program and community.

Congratulations to all of our band seniors! We are so proud of each of you and all you have accomplished throughout your time in the program. We’d love to take a moment to recognize each senior and highlight the exciting paths they’ll be taking after graduation.

Sarah has been a member of the bands at OHS while also performing in the University of Akron All-Star Band. She plans to attend The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute to study Animal Science.

Congratulations to all of our band seniors! We are so proud of each of you and all you have accomplished throughout your time in the program. We’d love to take a moment to recognize each senior and highlight the exciting paths they’ll be taking after graduation.

Jessie has been a member of the bands at OHS and while also performing in the University of Akron All-Star Band. She plans to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Akron this fall.

Charlie has participated in the bands at OHS while also performing in the Tri-County Honor Band, The University of Akron Honor Band, OMEA All-State, and multiple solo and ensemble events. He plans to attend The Ohio State University in the fall with a major in Physics.
