What an AMAZING and unforgettable evening at Orrum Middle School! ❤️💛
Today, we had the incredible honor of watching our wonderful EPI teachers from Kenya 🇰🇪, Guyana 🇬🇾, and the Philippines 🇵🇭 proudly share the beauty, richness, and uniqueness of their cultures with our families and staff!
It was truly a joy to see our teachers SHINE in their element! From their engaging presentations and beautiful cultural traditions to the songs that filled the room, every moment was a wonderful reminder of how much we can learn from one another. They even went above and beyond by sharing delicious foods from their home countries with our staff, giving us an opportunity to experience their cultures in such a special way!
These amazing educators bring so much more than their knowledge and instructional expertise to Orrum Middle School. They bring their hearts, their heritage, their experiences, and a world of opportunities for our scholars to learn and grow. Their presence enriches our school community in ways that extend far beyond the classroom.
To our phenomenal EPI teachers, THANK YOU! Thank you for allowing us to experience a piece of your home, for embracing our school family, and for reminding us that although we may come from different parts of the world, we are united by our love for children, education, and one another.
