🚨 Orrick PTO needs your help! 🚨

Our Soup & Chili Fundraiser is just around the corner — Saturday, Oct 25th — and we’ve only reached about 6% of our goal! 😬

This fundraiser covers things like:
🍕 Class pizza parties
📚 A book for every child at the Book Fair
🎃 Goody bags for the Halloween parade
☕ Teacher appreciation and fun events all year

💛 Tomorrow during conferences is the perfect time to donate! 💛
You can:
➡️ Drop cash/checks at the elementary office (put PTO in the memo)
➡️ Hand it to your child’s teacher
➡️ Send it in your kid’s backpack labeled “Orrick PTO”

🐾✨ Orrick PTO: Not your regular PTO (we’re the fun one 😎) ✨🐾

Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 3 @ 6:00 PM in Room 5.
(After that, it’s the first Wednesday of every month.)

👉 Meetings aren’t required to volunteer. We just need parents willing to jump in and help — because these awesome programs don’t happen without you.

We are changing the date for Elementary Field Day to Thursday, May 22 to allow time for things to hopefully dry out.

Field Day- Thursday, May 22nd
Invitation Mile Run Starts at 8:30

Lunch Schedule - For PTO Concessions
11:00 – 3rd Grade
11:10 – 2nd Grade
11:20– 4th PK/Kindergarten
11:30 – 1st Grade
11:40 – 6th Grade
11:50 – 5th Grade
12:00- 4th Grade

Visitors will need to check in at the playground gate and get a visitor sticker for the day. We will have a schedule of the events for each grade level for visitors.

Update: We have received enough donations to cover field day, thank you so much to our donors.

Orrick Elementary PTO is still in need of candy donations for Field Day this Wednesday!

Field Day is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and we rely almost entirely on donations to make it all happen. 100% of funds raised go directly to students and teachers.

When donations fall short (and we’re a very small group to begin with), PTO members often cover the gaps out of their own pockets to reduce the expenses PTO has to take on—because less money for PTO means less money for our kids.

If you’re able, we’d love one box of each kind you can grab. A little variety keeps things fun (and prevents the great Laffy Taffy riots of 2023).

Most items are available at your local Walmart. Thank you so much for your support—we seriously couldn’t do this without you!

The Orrick PTO is seeking donations for Teacher Appreciation week and Field day.

We are also looking for volunteers to help run the concession stand for Field day. (No you don't have to be crazy to help, we'll train you 😆)

PTO concession is a popular lunch option for many students and we rely on community donations and support to keep the tradition going. Without your support it wouldn't be possible.
