We had so much fun finding new faces and upcoming stars for the QRC’s Spring 2026 fashion show “Spring Into Oz,” a collaboration with Leonel Torres Sanchez and other q***r student artists that attend Butte College. Thank you for everyone who came out and supported us in our search for finding models!

We cannot wait to see everyone in action, and we hope to see you all there. Don’t forget to save the date!

Did you know that there is a free thrift store at Butte College? It is called "The Open Closet" and is located in the Q***r Resource Center (Swing Space F 101). This resource is available to all at no cost and is maintained by generous donations made by community members.

The Open Closet recently received a large donation of leather work boots, (new) period underwear, and (new) bras from and we are excited to share these resources with students!

The Q***r Resource Center is open Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm during Fall and Spring semesters. Clothing donations are accepted during all open hours.

We are having so much fun making the decor for the ***rconstellationsdance ✨

Join us for the Q***r Constellations Dance, a sober space to foster connections across generations. This event has something for everyone; free bike valet, food vendors, a faerie garden lounge, live music, dance, and drag. This year, we've got three official Stonewall Chico events -
The Teen Dance, for all teens ages 13-17, May 31st, 5:00pm - 9:00pm at the Boys and Girls Club of Chico.
Drag Storytime, for kids of all ages and families, June 1st, 1:00-3:00pm at the Chico Branch Library.
The Downtown Festival, for everyone of all ages, June 7, 11:00am-4:00pm at Chico City Plaza.

We're also partnering with a number of community partners who are presenting their own Chico Pride events, including -
- Pride Edition at the June 3, 5, and 7. Half Priced tickets are available from Stonewall Chico!
- Q***r Board Game night (June 4, 6-8pm) and Pride D&D: Masquerade Heist (June 29, 1-5pm) at . Space is limited for these events so reserve your spot early by contacting Penny Ranch.
- Pride night at , June 6, 530-7:30pm at Chico Fitness Center
