Are you feeling weary?
Has this season been a stormy one?
Maybe you’re facing apathy that has left you feeling heavy.
Good news: Jesus promises us that if we come to Him (action step #1), He will give us rest.
I don't think it's the kind of rest we've been programmed to believe we deserve.
It says that in Matthew 11 that if we take His yoke (there's an action step again) upon us, and learn from Him (action step #3) we WILL find rest for our souls (our mind, will and emotions). But first, He reminds us that He is gentle and humble in heart. He cares for you. He would not have died on a cross if that weren’t true.
If you find yourself needing a gentle and humble heart to meet you in your season, your suffering, your apathy, your anger, your hurt, your storm... Jesus is there, waiting to teach you so that you can find rest.

Meet Nathan and Lindsay Taylor.
Nathan and Lindsay serve as Level 1 leaders at SOT and as pastors at Father’s House. Though Canada is their birthplace, they have called California home for the past 12 years. They are an incredible couple and the proud parents of three gorgeous children.
Lindsay was diagnosed with epilepsy as a teenager and relied on medication for most of her life. However, she chose to pursue healing and total transformation of her heart, her mind, and her body. Together, Nathan and Lindsay held fast daily to the truth of who God says He is, and consequently, who He says they are. They have walked through fire and navigated the darkest of valleys, standing firmly on His Truth and refusing to let circumstances, symptoms, ungodly beliefs, or lies hinder them from allowing Jesus to do what only He can do. Healing has never been the priority, it's a life laid down for Jesus because of everything He's done for them. It's knowing who they serve and what He's asked of them.
Last week marked two years of Lindsay being seizure-free, a milestone they once wondered if they would ever reach this side of heaven. Yet, they held onto hope, trusting that healing was in their midst. His name is Jesus.
We have walked alongside this wonderful couple contending for a miracle watching them speak out healing and life over her body daily and we not only have watched this miracle unfold over the past two years, we are witnessing revival through this couple. Hearts are being restored back to Him and lives are being healed because of these two and their love looks like something tangible and real.

Thank you to all our Mud Run Volunteers Students and Staff! We had a FANTASTIC weekend that was full of kids having fun, families bonding and a whole lot of MUD!
We couldn't have done it without the full support of every student, staff and volunteer that has worked tirelessly not only on the Race days but all the weeks leading up to this event!
With over 3100 racers that signed up and over 6000 Spectators!
WOW what a mighty little team we are, doing BIG things for Jesus.
