Designer Highlight: Irina Vasiliuk
Irina made an outfit for each season & actually makes pretty much all the clothes she wears! A professional inspiration for all those interested in designing. "I design and model pieces from my own handmade wardrobe. Having sewn for many years, I approach fashion as an art of personal identity rather than trends. My work celebrates bold femininity, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the confidence that comes from wearing garments created with intention, patience, and a deep appreciation for individual style."
She is also a painter - come check out her stuff at MONCA next week!

Designer Highlight! Melissa Laurie! Melissa designed an outfit for every season!
"After years of sewing the occasional costume here and there, I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the fashion classes at Butte College and honing my skills. At the moment I’m typically repurposing items like tablecloths, bedsheets, and curtains into whimsical dresses. I’ve also taken a sharpie to a lot of of my clothes creating illustrated pieces featuring all sorts of flora and fauna and more"
