Today we installed our beautiful new mosaic at our new building! What began as an idea is now a stunning piece of art that reflects who we are and what we believe.

The mosaic features our school motto, “Come Back Butte Charter – Finish What You Started,” along with an open door symbolizing new beginnings and the journey toward success. The vibrant porcupine reminds us that we all need support and a hug, while the golden ribbons remind us of the values we strive for every day: Prosperity, Health, Joy, Success, Triumph, Skill, Mastery, and Accomplishment.

A heartfelt thank you to the Rainforest Art Project and artist Leanna Lunsford for hearing my ideas and bringing them to life. Your creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication have given our school a lasting symbol of inspiration for every student who walks through our doors.

We can’t wait for our students, staff, families, and community to see it in person. May it serve as a daily reminder that no matter where your journey begins, you can always finish what you started. 🩵🩶🖤🤍

Sharing

One of our teachers just got a call from a Come Back Class of 2025 graduate. He shared that he finished his first year of college and earned a 3.8 GPA and is on the Dean’s list.
He just wanted to say thanks for everything. He said we taught him that he was the only thing limiting himself and that the atmosphere and energy and aura of our school is wonderful. 🩵🩶🖤🤍
