Happy Mothers Day everyone!

LPO Band had a fantastic performance yesterday at the Feather Fiesta Parade. Big shoutout to OUHSD for its continued support of the band and making sure our band students have what they need to be successful. This is the first time the band performed in our new band jackets, colorguard uniforms, and drum major uniforms. Our old uniforms were showing wear and tear and it was time to update. Everything looks great together especially with our modern band trailer.

Another shoutout to and .seidling for creating a new uniform set for the band and helping us with our vision for the new uniforms for the marching band. You guys knocked it out of the park with this design.

The band also wants to thank the band boosters(especially our band moms) and Tom Post for all your help yesterday with uniforms, keeping our students hydrated, and driving the new band trailer.

LPO Band Spring Concert is tonight (May 1st) 6pm at State Theater. Admission is free.

Come out and see the LPO Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and concert percussion ensemble. We hope to see you there!

LPO Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band came out in force this weekend at the Inderkum Band Festival.

Wind Ensemble received an Unanimous Superior. Superior ratings from all three judges. This is one of the highest ratings you can get at a festival in this circuit.

Symphonic Band did a fantastic job receiving an excellent and even receiving a superior rating from one of our judges.

At the Butte Band Festival, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble both received a Superior Rating. Let's make sure to congratulate our band students on a strong finish to their concert season! Videos will be uploaded to the band youtube channel soon.

We will be having our annual LPO Winter Arts Showcase Friday, April 24th at 6:30pm at the LP East Gym.

LPO Winter Percussion, Drum Majors, PV Winterguard, Yuba City Winterguard, and LPO winterguard will be performing that night. Admission is $3 a person. All proceeds go towards funding winter percussion and winterguard ensembles. Please feel free to share this flier to spread the word!

LPO Band had some big wins this weekend at the NCBA Winter Championships.

Winterguard placed 2nd in their division. Joselyn Hernandez, colorguard captain, also received a $500 scholarship from NCBA!

Winter percussion got 8th place and we had several drum majors place in their division.

Shoutout to Jose Villa-Um getting 3rd, Natalie Camarena 2nd, and Johnathan Houston 9th! Let’s make sure to congratulate our winterguard, winter percussion and drum major students on a strong finish to their season.
