Butte County Superintendent of Schools Mary Sakuma has long been an educator at heart! 🍎 This week, it was BCOE's privilege to visit Marigold School in Chico so she could do what she loves most: spend time with kids in the classroom!

A big thank you to Principal Heath and the teachers who shared their class time with us, as Superintendent Sakuma read "We Don't Eat Our Classmates" 🦖📚 to classes ranging from kindergarten through third grade. Thank you, Marigold Elementary!
