Students competed for high score using the Miller mobile arc welding systems at the Orland High college/career fair yesterday.

Second year students in advanced manufacturing test out our new Haas control simulators this week!

Arc Exposure 2024 kicked off today and the sparks started flying fast! This much anticipated event is held annually by the Butte College Welding Department and aims to provide participants with hands-on training in the latest welding techniques using advanced technology and equipment. 250 participants across 50 high schools will attend this event and will leave better skilled, better educated, and better prepared for the many possibilities the welding industry has to offer.

2023 AMP Training was a success! In collaboration with the GMI Expo, hosted by BC Advanced Manufacturing on Day 2, we were able to expose over 200 high school students to an exciting and important trade. These experiences allow participants to explore their options, their interests, and their potential. We can’t wait to see what they manufacture next year!

The competition is on! BC Advance Manufacturing hosts 18 high schools for the 3rd Annual AMP Training. This year groups will utilize our facility, equipment, and machinery to manufacture a custom bbq. We are excited to see the results…and to find out who will take home the coveted 1st place 🏆
