Tomorrow is the monthly Oroville School District #410 - Oroville Washington Board meeting at 6:30pm at the Oroville High School Library.
Given the ongoing Contract Negotiations with the Teacher (Certificated) and Classified Unions, this could be an interesting and productive Board Meeting and it would be great to have a large turn out! Maybe there will be some additional information about the negotiations put out!
The Agenda is below, but a couple of interesting things pop out to me:
Item A is a lot of wonderful donations to the school. I'm curious as to why the school received donated hotel rooms for District wrestling? Did the school not have funds for rooms otherwise?
Item F - Approving the Superintendent's contract through 2028. I'd like to see the teacher's and Classified staff have a contract in place before approving the Superintendent's for another three years. Maybe we can table that one until after negotiations are complete.
Item I - What is the purpose of reverting policies on Sexual Harassment and Discrimination to 2020 standards?
