The 2027 Greece Trip is hosting Moana in the OPAC tomorrow night, Friday 8/21. All are welcome! It's a free event to attend - donations welcome. Concessions will be sold during intermission.
The OPAC is the Orono Performing Arts Center. The entrance is behind Orono High School.

The Lost and Found will be cleaned out on Wednesday! This will include items left in the office. Please spread the word and collect your goods. 
Items not collected are donated to area thrift stores or, if too far gone, will be recycled.

An update to our lost and found! THANK YOU and congrats to those who labeled items! We’ve been making calls and returning items. For everyone else - label label label!!
If you see anything that might belong to your child, give us a call or stop in. If you want to check the Lost and Found, stop in next week M-Th.
After next week, remaining items will be donated.

That's a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year!
Sometimes people think, "It's the last day of school... they're not doing anything." This couldn't be farther from the truth! While it's true that teachers are NOT introducing new lessons or assigning homework, the last day is so important for helping students to say goodbye to their current learning communities, build ties for next year, and come together as a school to celebrate hard work and a year of growth. As you walk around the school on the last day, you see lots of action-- yearbook signing, reminiscing with photos and stories, making remembrances, cleaning out cubbies, and sometimes even sneaking in a good book reading. Two important traditions happen on the last day. 1- School-wide yearbook signing! 2- the teacher farewell to the busses. Both are bittersweet, as we celebrate our amazing students, and wish them well in next school year's adventures in new classrooms and, in some cases, in new buildings!

Our library stats for the year, courtesy of Ms. Murphy our librarian! Please note - we have 76 books still checked out! Wow! Check the closets, backpacks, and under the bed - get those books in! So far our third grade is WINNING at most books returned!

We’re in the final few days for the 25-26 school year! Here are a few reminders and events:
1- today at 1:45 is the grade 3 wax museum

3- tomorrow June 10 is the last day for pre-K students
4- Thursday, June 11 is the last student day for kindergarten through grade 5. It is an early release day.
