UMaine College of Education and Human Development invited all our First Year Education and Human Development students to explore their new hometown- Town of Orono. With UM faculty and staff, they explored Orono Public Library, RSU 26, Orono Thrift Store. They used the SunRule sculpture in Webster Park to collect data with Dr Dimmel & Dr Pandiscio. Trivia w Dominick! They also learned of Penobscot sense of place & history of Orono with Dr Ranco and James Francis. And let’s not forget lunch-Pat's Pizza Orono Woodman's Bar & Grill, The TacoritaHarvest Moon Delis The Family Dog Orono for food that was yummy and memorable. Thank you, Orono!
